AccessStamp: three fixes, rechecked on a phone
AccessStamp scans a web page and shows its accessibility work. We opened accessstamp.dev on a 390px phone and on desktop and sent three notes.
What the notes pointed at
- The plugin's status didn't read the same everywhere on the page.
- The main button didn't say what the scan is.
- "Request pilot access" didn't show the price before the click.
What changed (rechecked October 17)
- The plugin reads "pilot open" under the buttons and in the status table.
- The main button says "Scan any web page - free, 30 seconds" and sits in the first screen on a phone.
- "Request pilot access" shows "EUR 299 one-time", and the page it opens says no payment is taken.
What we liked from the start
A status table that says what's live and what's still planned, and the line "it shows the work, it does not certify it."
Globoost wasn't paid for this write-up. The maker read it and said OK before it went up.
