What I feature and what I skip
Last updated October 17, 2026
I pick every app that shows up on Globoost myself, for the daily posts and for paid kits. These are the rules I use. Nobody pays to be in the daily picks, and nobody can pay to skip these rules.
What I feature
- Things solo makers and small teams build. Web apps, sites, mobile apps, browser extensions and developer tools.
- Something I can open. A working site, a store page or a demo video. A waitlist page with nothing behind it usually waits until there's more to show.
- A clear use. I need to be able to say in one line why it's worth a look, because that line goes in the post.
- An English page. The posts are in English, so the people who click need to be able to read what they land on.
- Crypto that only informs. A price tracker or a listings site is fine.
What I skip
- Anything that trades or holds people's money, trading signals, token sales and airdrops.
- Gambling and adult content.
- Courses, coaching or mentorship that promise income.
- Agencies and done-for-you services. I feature products, not services.
- Copies of an existing product with nothing of their own.
If a top Product Hunt launch falls into this list, I leave it out of the daily post and take the next one.
How the daily picks work
Most days I post three apps: launches from the previous day's Product Hunt leaderboard and apps makers send me. Each one gets a line on why it made the cut. Votes help me find apps, but they don't decide on their own. Picks are free. Paying doesn't get you in or move you up, and buying a kit doesn't put you in the picks.
Paid kits
The same list applies when someone pays for a Launch Kit or Launch Day. If an app turns out not to be a fit, I say so before the launch check is sent and refund in full. Paying doesn't buy a good review. The check and the posts say what I actually think. Posts for paid kits are marked as sponsored where platforms and search engines ask for it.
Changes and takedowns
If your app was featured and something is wrong, or you'd rather it came down, email contact@globoost.app and I'll fix it or remove it. You can also send your app for the next picks the same way, or DM Globoost on Instagram or X.
